with Joanne Ramseyer, MA, ATR, LCPC
& Pat Otto, MFA, MA, ATR-BC, LCPC
Saturday January 16, 2010, 12-3 pm
$40 on or before 1/9 and $50 after through the C.G. Jung Center
Jung viewed the mandala as a symbol of the urge to seek wholeness and fulfill our potential. Painting mandalas can evoke a deep, meditative state and access spontaneous imagery to enhance insight. In this workshop participants will be introduced briefly to the use of mandalas as a spiritual tool across cultures and create a personal mandala using simple painting methods or other expressive arts techniques to increase their ability to use art in a contemplative manner. All supplies included.
Held at Blue Lotus Art Studio, 912 Sherman Ave., Evanston, 60202
